Loma and Usyk were there for Nail.1okstcsb wrote: ↑19 Oct 2019, 18:13 Who knows, he may have just wanted to see a good competitive fight at the highest level, Fighters are fans too, Usyk was also there (Sitting next to Bob Arum who had Loma on the other side of him) I am pretty sure Usyk and Lomachenko know/are friends with Gvozdyk Personally, so they may have also wanted to support their friend, even if it wasn't business related.

I'm not so sure. Firstly we need to see a clean Miller in the ring to really asses where he is at. The drugs he was busted for could well be somewhat behind what he was known for- high volume relentless come forward fighting.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 15:13 I can’t imagine any world-rated heavyweights wanting to face Miller, unless Bob Arum digs deep into his pockets and awards them with a monstrously huge payday.
Top fighters will quite rightly duck Miller.
The only reason why I feel top-tier world-rated heavyweights would very likely refuse to consider facing Jarrell Miller, is because Big Baby’s reputation is currently in tatters.KiwiRider wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 15:49I'm not so sure. A fully tested, ring rusty Miller might just be prime for the picking.
Didn’t he only lose his NYSAC license?Pukka Cheese wrote: ↑30 Jan 2020, 10:09 When was the last time he passed a drugs test?
Will he need to pass a test to get his license and 'comeback ' fight?
Serious questions...![]()
If I remember correctly he didn't have it yet, which is why they (NYSAC) couldn't directly punish him.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑30 Jan 2020, 11:12Didn’t he only lose his NYSAC license?Pukka Cheese wrote: ↑30 Jan 2020, 10:09 When was the last time he passed a drugs test?

You're absolutely right, Jarrell Miller’s license with the NYSAC had expired, so the Commission couldn’t suspend the license of a fighter that didn’t technically have one to be suspended.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑30 Jan 2020, 11:12Didn’t he only lose his NYSAC license?Pukka Cheese wrote: ↑30 Jan 2020, 10:09 When was the last time he passed a drugs test?

the english translation of this is " he is a cheating twat who should be banned for a lot longer "Enlightened-One wrote: ↑30 Jan 2020, 11:51You're absolutely right, Jarrell Miller’s license with the NYSAC had expired, so the Commission couldn’t suspend the license of a fighter that didn’t technically have one to be suspended.
Jarrell Miller did receive a six months suspension from the WBA and was removed from the rankings of all the sports governing bodies.
I believe Miller continued to be licensed to box in Illinois after his failed drug tests, because I don’t believe they were compelled to act on the outcome of his VADA test results.
I’m not sure about Miller’s current situation with the NYSAC or others, but I suspect there's a possibility that some of the state commissions may consider denying him license if he applies for one within their jurisdiction.
16th April 2020 is the one-year anniversary of VADA’s announcement that Miller had tested positive for banned substances.
