Given that Ogawa is the #3 IBF ranked jr. light (or superfeather), #1 and #2 are vacant, as of now, and Rakhimov is actually embroiled into a drug scandal (they have found some stuff in his room), shouldn't Tevin try to clear the mess that was his first match against Ogawa, whom will have a match for a secondary WBO title in december? Also, remember Gervonta is going for WBA regular light title against Gamboa in that time.

It wasn't really a mess. Farmer had one the first match and didn't get decision but it was a clear win. No need to go backwards.

Ogawa was also busted for PEDs too, but let us see if he rebounces first. I still would like to see a rematch, also due to the fact it was turned to a NC and that it would have some thrilling backstory to it.

TBH, there was a select few who actually had Ogawa winning. Some felt Farmer didn't always do enough to win rounds, just coasted.. Also, the Sky Sports commentary for this fight was really biased..

If Ogawa can get himself in position again, and Farmer doesn't have many options, then why not.. A fight is a fight.

Farmer won't get past his next mandatory and I'm not sure Ogawa gets past Noynay in December tbh

Rakhimov is currently being reviewed for maybe using smelling salts during the elimination, and if that stands true, how can he go the distance against Farmer?

Rakhimov would clearly preside a stiffer challenge to Farmer than Ogawa. Many think Farmer got robbed of a victory vs Ogawa in the original fight and the PED use makes it a moot point as far as Ogawa deserving a rematch.

Noynay Vs Ogawa is one I don't want to see again. They clashed heads every round, 4 BIG clashes, Noy nay was cut in...I think round 2, Ogawa in 3, Noynay again 4 and 5. It was a fight the southpaw/orthodox stances clashed repeatedly. Both can go a different route...Either of them could go after Mishiro or Minamoto, the or the Saka Vs Watanabe winner, or any number of better alternatives from a viewing perspective.

Not sure if you're being unjustly harsh on Noynay, or just didn't see the fight. Noynay is solid, but the fight was a mess.

Maybe I am being harsh, but Tevin has come a long way since that and this mess complicated Ogawa situation.
