My take is that he cannot do any real boxing training (sparring at least) and Fury history shows that he stays on track when he is kept busy and keeping his gym work up. Rather than taking a time out with the cut eye, he is keeping his fitness up, keeping himself occupied and earning a bucket of cash for something which actually benefits him.
It will all be wrapped up at about the same time as the cut is healed enough to begin boxing training again.
Smart move and this will only benefit him (imo)

Yeah it's not a bad thing for him at all, and in all likelihood won't hinder his Boxing plans in any way.

What I like about the footage is that you can see how the wrestling match is going to pan out. Its a bloody shame you cant have a bet on WWE

All is good as long as he does not get injured. I have bad feeling about this one.

On Sky Bet you can usually bet on the big PPV shows.

I very much doubt they will risk him getting injured. Steve Bunce reckons they will use a blood capsule on his eye to make it look like he's been cut, I can see that happening but I doubt they will risk his multi million dollar purse against Wilder, its all choreographed, rehearsed and practiced. He's more at risk in sparring.

Agreed. Its definitely better for him to keep busy making money while the cuts heal rather than being out at weekends spending it.
Though I can see completely why boxing fans are highly frustrated with the last 12 months from a boxing perspective

I wonder how many 'new' fans he'll make for his boxing career. I'm sure that is the thrust of this endeavor, after the money that is.

Could be anywhere from 5 to 10,000 that'll watch his next fight that otherwise wouldn't have. Something like that I'd figure. Won't make a HUGE dent, but it'll make an impact.
Unless somehow his match turns out to be better than anyone expects, and generates a lot of Buzz somehow. I don't really know how that could happen, but who knows.

Is there much of a cross over between boxing fans and wrestling fans in the USA or is it generally a completely different demographic?

Completely different I'd imagine.

Surely Fury gets illegally knocked down and looks spark out, then bolts up Wilder-Undertaker style.

I don't think 95% of wrestling fans think it's real. Maybe little kids, and mentally deficient people, but others just like the show of it all.

Fury was at Wembley yesterday for the NFL, they interviewed him at the side of the pitch. I was willing Braun Strowman to come out of the crowd and for them to have a scuffle.
