did anyone see his win last weekend over the unbeaten Sergey Stepkin?

Bradley seems to be used as a stepping stone for fighters, but he keeps upseting these russians.

He looked a top prospect at one time, good puncher, nice skills.
he had a great fight with Gavin Down, before walking into one when fighting Ted Bami.

Unfortunatly since then he has had problems , spent a time in Jail for beating his girlfriend. Also didn't train well , and is probaly fighting above his ideal weight.

When I saw him get battered by Olesegun, I thought he was about done. If he is hanging around, glad to see him get a win.

Yeah that was a bad loss, you could see he wasn't up for that one.

While I never really considered Pryce to be a great prospect, I thought from very early on that he might be successful at British level. There are two main things that bother me aout the way his career has gone, although he's hardly helped himself either.

The first is the obvious weight hopping. He's just nowhere near big enough to fight up at middle or even lightmiddle. No matter who the opponent is, they're going to make it hard for him because they are so much bigger. It's telling that most of the losses on his record have come in fights above what I consider to be his natural weight, which is probably welter.

The second thing is the match-making. He seemed to be moving along in classic Sports Network style, fighting a whole string of journeymen. Then they threw him in aginst Bami. Ok, so Bami was hardly the finished article back then, but what had Pryce faced that would prepare him for that? After that, they pitched him in against Sinclair, he had no chance. From then on he seems to have become a trial horse. Someone who's just wheeled out to face anyone across two or three weight divisions. Unfortunately I think he's going to stay a win some - lose some fighter for a couple of years before finishing quite early.

If anyone saw the fight last weekend, I'd also be interested to know how he looked, because I agree with McNeilly, he looked almost finished last time out.

I thought he looked good, not sure about the Russian wasn't the great hope he was made out to be, but Pryce boxed well and always seemed in control of the contest. A good finish as well. Shame it was on after Hatton and most of the paying public had left.

Pryce is never in an easy fight and seemed to enjoy the win!!

thanks for that, Pryce does seem to do well when he can box at his own pace.

What was that fight where he fought a 12 rounder for some bullshit title, and he suddenly ran out of gas and wandered round like a zombie.

He was so clearly not ready for a 12 rounder. Was it the fight with Jason Hall? He was basically out on his feet and looked like he should have been stopped, but came through to win on points. I wonder whether that fight took it's toll on him.

I thought Pryce looked cracking when I first saw him, though he had a kind of fragile looking build with that receding chin and a long neck which was always likely to render him a bit chinny.

When you see people box who look like that , you always think there an accident waiting to happen.

The Jason Hall fight in about the 8th rd I believe he actually turned his back to Hall. Seemed like he wanted to quit. The ref would of had every right to stop it but of course didnt.
