It's entirely within Golota's hands to win this one, Brewster has little going for him. However, it's possible that Golota will pull out a mediocre performance and find a way to lose. King must want rid of Brewster.

Christ, King is giving Golota every conceivable chance to get his hands on a title though isn't he. First Byrd, then Ruiz, now Brewster.

Golota v Klitchsko could be a massive fight. I think Golota would get pummelled, he would start hyperventilating as soon as he saw Vitali, but it would be a big fight...

Say what you want about DK, but he's put together most of the biggest matchups in history. I wish every promoter 'ruined' the sport like Don.

Yes Bubi, but nobody outside of Europe is interested in them, you've got to see this as a business.

If it weren't a business, there is no way Danny would ever have got his shot against Vitali, Tyson was top 15 at best when Danny beat him, it was a creditable win, very impressive in it's nature, but didn't make him a top 10 fighter. I don't think Tyson was shot by any means, but he's not the fighter he was by any stretch.

I know it seems unfair Bubi, but you've got to realise that with the cable networks being centred in the US, and the most money being generated from there for PPV, only fighters with crossover appeal are going to get their shot at the big titles. The sanctioning bodies are as much if not more to blame than anyone, promoters know that sanctioning bodies want nice fat fees for title fights, and so the rating reflect fighters who are not just the best, but have the most marquee value.

This is why the WBO has always been so eurocentric, it gave European fighters a crack at the whip, and European promoters have worked with them over the years.

It's far from ideal, but to blame Don King is childish, blame the sanctioning bodies which accomodate him. If it wasn't for their greed, the system would not be able to perpetuate.

The WBO is pretty lame. All are inept to one degree or another but some of the fighters ranked by the WBO based on long unbeaten records versus Lithuanian farmers and African camel herders is simply ridiculous.

fornicate, Toney and Rahman are 1 and 2 on all other rankings, too. Krasniqi and Sam would easily win vs the foul Pole and Brewster. King knows that. this is why he brought Golota in. i know you hate them both but this is true. Golota didn´t win vs anyone special. he is only famous for losing title fights and fouling. come on. other guys struggle for years to claim the rankings.

Golota should win this, regardless of his mental condition. Brewster is pants, it's a miracle he's still the champion. King must really want Golota as one of his champions, because he's gradually lowered the standard of champ he goes in against.
