Circa 1977, if George beat Jimmy Young, would he have been able to take Muhammad in a rematch. 15 rounds.

Yeah, Ali would not have been able to pull that one off twice.

Foreman wasn't psychologically ready to face with Ali again after losing his title with that KO. Ali would win again.

Foreman would win for sure. He looked more credible than Ali at the latest stages even after he had actually come back.

I don't know if he could've psychologically handled him, but if he were properly motivated to redeem himself he probably could've.
He still made a lot of the stylistic mistakes, and might wind up gassing again, but I'm not sure if Ali would've been able to put him down this time.

Ali looked better against Shavers than Foreman did against Young. Would be interesting to see if he could 15. He couldn't have gone another 3 against Young.

I think Foreman psychologically couldn't handle that loss to Ali, and he never was as good as before, I think that's why Ron Lyle scored a knockdown against him and he lost to Jimmy Young after losing to Ali.
If young Foreman had the same mindset that he had in his 45, he would win against Ali.

He was always going to have a hard time against Ali. He couldn't knock him and he was he wasn't going to win a decision over 15 rounds.
