Soro is a capable guy. I thought he'd have beaten the Argie dude. Didn't catch that fight so not sure if it was a fair decision or not? Hopefully he can get another crack. That's a pretty decent win last night.

Castaño beat Soro but it was a close fight and Soro is capable of beating anyone but the very best in division. He kind of got screwed by the French promoters who put on the first Castaño fight and dicked around paying the belt-holder, who rightly wanted some better guarantees about getting paid for a second fight in France. When he didn’t get them, Soro missed out on another title shot. Would like to see Soro in with Lara or Huard, or Castaño in the US

Castano brought it to Soro who couldn't impose his pop like he usually does. I think he has his number 'stylistically'

Remember he was due to fight Liam Smith for the vacant WBO title a few years back but had to pull out. That would've been interesting, still could be actually..

This was a pretty good fight on paper, I would have watched it if there were any US streams.
Soro will probably never be #1 in the division but he's a good opponent for anybody. I think he'd be a good opponent for Lubin, who's been matched pretty soft since Charlo KO'd him.

Castaño is a hell of a tough out for anyone at 154 because he is unrelenting and throws so many punches it keeps opponents off balance. He’s really a blown up welterweight IMO and doubt he’s big enough to be competitive with the big boys at middleweight, but who knows?
