I can definitely cite at least a dozen sources claiming that Charles Martin has recently sparred with Andy Ruiz Jr. In fact there are recent photos of Ruiz Jr. with his collection of sparring partners (those I named above) and Charles Martin was one of them.

To be honest, it doesn't really matter to me whether Charles Martin is or isn't one of Andy Ruiz Jr's sparring partners, since I'm only citing claims being conveyed by the media.

I could be wrong, but doesn't Charles Martin train at the same gym as Andy Ruiz Jr. anyway? There are videos of him talking about their previous sparring sessions (prior to the first AJ about).

Yes they train at the same gym and are friends

It is very interesting to know that Evander Holyfield had been sparring with Andy Ruiz. Holy claims that Ruiz had "the fastest hands" he had met in the ring. This might sounds a little bizarre, but I think that Holy is/was a great champion, and I believe him.

"I helped Ruiz Jr, it was a great experience for myself. I don't have much amateur experience or too many fights on the record so it was brilliant for me to learn and get better.

"Being in the ring with Andy and knowing his style, I understand what happened in that first fight...
