Jenkins defends his British Welterweight title against Taylor on the Bowen/Cacace card on BT this Saturday,, Taylor still only the one loss to Nurse which he avenged recently but the rest of his record is pretty poor TBH, still that doesn't men he's crap, just matched soft

Jenkins lucky to still be champ after yet another one of his fights is stopped on his cuts, Gallagher punches caused the cuts but Jenkins scraped the TD, he's in good form Jenkins since moving up to 147, I agreed that he was ahead at the time of the stoppage, you just know when you watch him though he's gonna cut to ribbons, all depends whether its before/after 4 rounds, punch/illegal blow etc

If by some miracle he can avoid being cut or at least avoid getting stopped I think he'll have too much fight for Taylor over 12 rounds and win on points, could be close at times though

Thats a pisser, it was warming up to be a cracker, Jenkins must have the worst luck with cuts than anyone I can remember, even when its not his fault he gets cut, he was just coming into the fight in the 4th as well, worst luck, great start from Taylor, scored a knockdown in the 2nd, right hand to the temple sent Jenkins down as he was ducking low. seemed to wake Jenkins up and the rest of the round was a war, quality stuff, as I say he was coming into the fight but Taylor dangerous with the head and the inevitable happened, gutting but look forward to the rematch

I'm guessing a head clash before the end of the 4th means a technical draw.
At least both guys will get paid again.
