On ebay today are 2 items which may be of interest. The financial accounts of Floyd Patterson and Cus D'Amato from 1961 , the year of his third fight with Johansson and Tom McNeeley.

I note that during the year D'Amato withdrew $180,000 and Patterson $162,000. This is $1.5 million and $1.3million respectively at todays value. Dan Florio ,Patterson's trainer got $70,000 ( $ 600,000).
