Wilder is not even close to Wladimir Klitschko or even Povetkin in terms of punching power. And their resumes speak for themselves. Knocking out a few stiffs and old fighters doesn't make you an ATG HW puncher. So people should take it easy.

I thought Mayweather was hated.
I've never seen the level of hatred for a guy that knocks out all but one opponent after 40 plus fights and 10 title defenses.

Yes he can. It is completely appropriate to compare him to the all time best hitters. Even Wilder detracters are now discussing his incredible power in all-time perspectives. It certainly isn't only because of the Ortiz fight. I think his demolition of Breazeale and Ortiz has validated what the rest of us already knew.
