Avanesyan defends his European Welterweight title against local lad Del Rio on the Martin/Hughes card this Thursday live on Sky, Avanesyan coming in on the 2 demolition jobs over Lejarraga, I like Avanesyan really good fighter, pity the Kelly fight never came off but that's nowt to do with him
Del Rio went the distance with Lejarraga and has been the distance with a couple of recognisable names and his only stoppage loss was to Fiordigiglio who Eggington steamrolled through in his last fight, never seen Del Rio but nothing on h9s record to suggest he can hang with Avanesyan, should be a routine win for the champ

Kelly v Avanesyan is still planned for Feb. Jelly out in Phoenix then Avanesyan next.

No fvcking about from Avanesyan there, you pretty much sensed after the first exchange that Del Rio probably wasn't gonna last long if he couldn't take much heat, nothing on his record to suggest he's fragile but 34 now and Avanesyan levels above, battered him with left hooks to the body, right hands and a few uppercuts as well, also switched a bit, I like to see guys deal with inferior opposition like this, sickener of abody shot, Del Rio tried to get up but couldn't, Avanesyan pummeled him
