First it was Fury threatening UKAD, then somehow the Canelo failure got quietly 'corrected' by WADA and now Dillian Whyte is also in the clear after UKAD backs down, again.
So what is it to be? Useless testing agencies or underhand bullying by the big money boys? Is this a case of David v Goliath, a middleweight v a superheavyweight?
Is it also too much to presume that if you (or your backer) have enough money to pay big legal firms, then you no longer have to worry about testing. You can simply threaten to bankrupt anyone who ever challenges you, and shutout any journalist who questions why your fighter won't face 365 random testing. Simple as that.
In fact Eddie Hearn has even mentioned legal action re the Whyte case. Really Eddie? Seriously?
Are they actually going after Thomas Hauser, or is this just another bluff to silence any naughty journalists who won't keep their mouths shut?
Once again the dirty sport of boxing reveals its ugly side in the ways the big investments are protected.
But only the biggest investments.

WADA had nothing whatsoever to do with Canelo receiving a ban for consuming tainted meat. They didn't receive any monies from the WBC or from Canelo.
In fact, VADA doesn't adhere to WADA (as per the Billy Joe Saunders case).
The reason they changed their stance on contaminated meat was based on extensive research and scientific evidence. Their rule changes affect all sports.
If you want to debate this point with me, simply because alleged "corruption" is far more interestimg than reality, then please feel free.

Thomas Hauser used to be an independent journalist who regularly criticised HBO, but then suddenly became one of their employees, which resulted in him instantly changing his tune(as previously explained by Yahoos Kevin Iole).
Hauser then decided to persistently criticise the PBC (HBO’s main rival) and claimed that Haymon’s TV show would very quickly go out of business. He was wrong!
As per his role with HBO, he was known to strategically publish articles about Haymon fighters, usually relating to Floyd Mayweather Jr. around important milestones for Showtime’s PPV events (i.e. fight week, press conferences etc.).
Hauser is abundantly aware that publishing controversial articles related to boxing’s newest “big thing”raises his own profile. He has a track-record for doing this.
Simply put, Thomas Hauser usually has an agenda. Review the dates his articles are published and the subject matter he writes about, because you’ll notice a trend.
Thomas Hauser often creates smoke even when there’s no fire!
