Sources: Mikey Garcia has agreed to terms with Eddie Hearn on a one-fight deal to compete on DAZN, and an announcement is imminent. Deal includes an option. The four-division champion will make his DAZN debut Feb. 29. No set opponent, but Jessie Vargas remains in play.

This is an interesting development, because Garcia was one of the names being considered for Pacquiao’s next opponent.
Also, Garcia has been an Al Haymon fighter. And I’m not sure if he still is. He could still be with the PBC chief, since Danny Jacobs is with both Hearn and Haymon.
The potential next opponent for Garcia, Jessie Vargas, is also aligned with Al Haymon. So this could be the second time that Matchroom/DAZN will be using two PBC fighters to headline one of their events (with Jacobs-Chavez Jr. being the other).
So is it safe to assume that Al Haymon and Eddie Hearn have established a good working relationship? This seems to be the case.

I think they've always had a good relationship.
Name me a top promoter, apart from FW, who Hearn has not worked with?

It’s kind of interesting though, because Bob Arum has been very vocal in his criticism of Hearn and Haymon, with Top Rank being very reluctant to work with Matchroom.
The more I think about things, the more I’m inclined to believe that Top Rank and Bob Arum are the main causes of today’s proverbial “cold war”, scuppering many cross-promotional/cross-network bouts.
