The judges scores are through and Jeff Horn is the champion!

Incredibly one of the judges ruled it a draw, but the other two give it to Horn 90-98, 92-97.

The ref is absolutely covered in blood. Both fighters are empty.

Zerafa's camp was fuming throughout the 10th round, but the defeated fighter goes to Horn to raise his hand in victory. A class act.

What an incredible fight that was.

Two things stood out to me,
One Judge having the fight a Draw....WTF
And I don't think Horn can go 12 rounds if needed.

Apart from that a great, well matched card.

do you think horn will stay at 160? he was a big 147 and but dont think theres going to be any world champ possibility there. he is a smallish 160 and i dont think there is any world champ possability there. But 154 is a weaker division right now and i think thats where horn should be trying to move forwards in the future.

What a fight. Brutal.
Horn dominated as far as scoring goes (I had 8 rounds to 2, with a 10/8) but he looked in trouble many many times. Michael despite being busted up looked the fresher throughout much of the bout but Jeff just wouldnt stop throwing. No idea how a judge had it a draw. Horn showed great movement and a very good jab early. I really hope he gets back to Jnr Middle either in a third with Michael, Tszyu or a crack at another title - but dont stay at middle!! How was that 9th - holy crap. Brilliant by both guys.

horn wins no doubt in my mind right now.

tszyu should just keep moving up slowly. no need to rush imo.

An entertaining fight for the casual fan but far from world class boxing. On that display both fighters need to be very careful regarding their next opponents. Both showed great courage but it would have been nice to see some of the sweet science of boxing rather than a brawl.

I see Zerafa's camp is going to appeal the fight and areas of the refs performance, alleging the referee should've stopped the fight in the 9th but in the same breath saying the referee shouldnt have paused the fight to have the doctor check the cut (just going by what is written in the paper.) Whether the timing was crap or not the cut definitely needed checking, and i think the result justified the fight not being stopped.

There making idiots of themselves ,, crying its not fair we was belting Horn around the ring and the ref did'nt stop it ,, going by that stupidity , horn decked Zerafa twice and the ref did'nt stop it then either ,, Only complaint that should be made is how the hell did that judge score it a draw

Pausing the fight in the middle of a big rally where it looks like you are on the verge of winning is very questionable tbf, should wait for a lull or till the end of the round. Obviously the result shouldn't be changed though.

Don't forget they're alleging (which from what I've seen going around is correct) that the doctor also treated the cut which is illegal for the doctor to do as well.

Dr slightly treated it, but not enough to warrrent changing the result. the stop in action was the bad bit, but it was also not bad enough to revers. I do think the way it went down warrents a trillogy fight. but I dont think horn will take it unless he dosent have other opertunitys because they are rough tough fights, He can keep that in his back pocket for when he needs a big fight but cant get one. for now i think he will have tim tz or international opportunities. horn belongs at 154 not 160.
