Long time coming unfortunately! Cancelled a fair bit back as the shows became non-existent.

Bound to happen. I thought BT were paying enough to keep it running, could have used it. Give it decent budget and with that, we could have still gotten some US cards.

Now we have BT, who are not even always showing ESPN/TR cards, whereas ESPN+ shows anything BT shows.

Sky and Hearn still in bed, Sky do well to get some PBC cards after midnight.

ITV and PBC failed then. Was it Pac-Thurman which they put on PPV? Or did BT Sports pick that up in the end?

Spence vs. Garcia wasn't even ITV either..

We got small players like Channel 5 and Premier Sports who picked up Jermall vs. Hogan, but that was only because of CEJ.

Shame. The heyday of B0xnati0n really was the peak of televised live boxing. Since FW moved to BT, it’s been dire all around.

I cancelled my subscription a year or so back and they still carried on letting me watch. Guess somebody forgot to hit the button to scramble my signal.

I guess the model just didn't work - an obscure channel, dedicated to one sport only, and it didn't have the reach to attract casuals unlike Sky and it's PPV arm.

I wouldn't be surprised to see MTK step into the mix in some fashion

They were meant to be linking up with MTK but think they only showed one card if and it disappeared, we had to make do with cards from South Afirca and the odd Shobox card, I get the channel through BT sports so never had to cancel, in its pomp it was the best thing to happen to UK boxing IMO, absolute Godsend for the hardcore fan and far cheaper than Sky and far more content, I can honestly say ove watched every card they done including the small pishy cards from Cape Town

The writings been on the wall for a while now so nobody's surprised but its good to finally get confirmation, least no one will be speculating whether they'll pick up this card or that card

It’s a shame, never bothered cancelling mine but they just stopped taking the money out months ago.

Think the end was when the fella who owned Rainham Steel died, he sponsored them, when he died, Warren went to bt and it's been downhill ever since

8 years the channel lasted. At it's peak the channel was fantastic. Nearly 70 live shows per year featuring the biggest names globally. They never got too greedy either. Only ever one price rise during the whole 8 years.

As broadcasting changes and streaming becomes more prevalent here's something to think about. Before Amazon Prime video launched in the UK or DAZN existed anywhere in the world B0xnati0n had already launched a streaming app. They launched it back in 2013 soon after Netflix arrived in the UK. Imagine what it could have looked like today with the right financial backing.

That’s the killer - we have lost so much US Coverage DAZN aside - nobody is even picking up the good Top Rank shows (Conlan/Davis) now either.

A real shame but I ditched it when FW went to BT and I got a sub for that instead.

that mad russian show that was on one afternoon was a genuine highlight, but stayed up for all the US stuff too.

It won’t be long before dazn is available in the uk, I can see Eddie ditching sky when his contract runs out and launching dazn in the uk.

Agree with you on Eddie. Matchroom's boxing deal with SKY ends in 6 months. SKY have all the Matchroom content tied down but the boxing comes under a separate contract.

Watch this space. DAZN are one of my clients, (we provide some IP video related training to them) and they said 2020 could finally see them launch in the UK.

Cancelled when the FW fights went onto BT. Was very good at it's peak. Always challenging to make a 1 sport tv channel work, but Racing Channel seems to be a viable channel at £20 a month (I've subscribed for years) - would be interested to see how viewing figures differentiate between horse racing and boxing.
