Would Berinchyk be perfect tune up for Gervonta Davis?

I think Denys Berinchyk would be the PERFECT tune up fight for "Tank" Davis

1. Berincyk fights a lot like Lomachenko in giving angles and mixing shots to the head and body, Though Lomachenko fights Southpaw and Berincyk fights Orthodox most of the time, both can switch up.

2. Berinchyk was Lomachenko's Olympic Teammate (Berinchyk got Silver) and I was told they are Brothers in law (I don't know if that is true, if so there is a storyline)

3. Berinchyk would be the first legitimate Lightweight that Tank Davis has fought, Also Berinchyk is good enough to give Davis some problems, but probably not good enough to beat Davis, so Davis will learn things, without jeopardizing the Big Money Lomachenko fight.

4. Lomachenko is fighting Lopez next in April, So it would be too long to just wait on Lomachenko, Haney is injured for at least 6 Months and supposedly is going to fight the winner of Luke Campbell VS Fortuna fight when he returns, Ryan Garcia has a Tuneup in February and then is likely to face Linares in May, Some talk that Leo Santa Cruz might be next, but that would be another small fighter moving up and Leo Santa Cruz says he wants to fight everybody, but has ducked Rigo and Gary Russell for years, those fighters would outbox Leo Santa Cruz, Davis would knock Cruz out, so I doubt Cruz takes the Fight.

5. Berinchyk is entertaining with his bizarre ring entrances that will have people talking even if the fight is a dud, but it should be good fight.

6. Usyk (Usyk has also participated in the ring entrances) And Gvozdyk always are Ringside for Berinchyk's fights and Lomachenko certainly would be as he scouts Davis and roots for his Former Olympic Teammate.

7. Berinchyk only has 12 fights, but he has been fast tracked his first opponent had 19 wins and 8 losses and then his next 2 had over 20 wins add that to the Silver Medal in the Olympics, this is an experienced fighter and a credible opponent, which Showtime and Fox will approve.

I think it would be a good fight, but Davis will win and learn things, he might have to make adjustments during the fight which will help him immensely going into the Lomachenko fight.

I doubt Berinchyk would work as a sparring partner helping him defeat his Olympic teammate, besides he called out Davis after his last fight. Otherwise he would be the IDEAL sparring partner for anyone getting ready for Lomachenko.

Berinchyk don't help potencial opponents Lomachenko.

And IMO Berinchyk would be a big test for Davis.

Berinchyk is a handful and more than a tune up for anyone.

Tank needs to get his weight in order, how many times has he missed weight now?

Berinchyk is the crazy entrance guy right? My prediction is that this becomes one of those 'Fighters before and after facing ___' videos

I don't think Baranchyk is a tune up for Davis. Davis would have to come up to 140 to fight him presumably, and this guy will make you feel like you're in there with your biggest opponent to date with his style.

Different guy

This is a 12-0 Ukranian lightweight who won Olympic silver. Berinchyk not Baranchyk

He's best known for doing wacky ring entrances. He's not bad at all but his career has moved really slow.

To be fair I thought he was on about the other one too.

Don't know much about this guy, but doubt his team would put him in with Tank this early.

Well hell considering Tank still needs tune ups, and it's too early for him to test himself at 25. I guess it'll be too early for everybody until they're like 31 or so. I always thought your physical prime was in your mid 20's, but I guess we gotta wait a while longer now for these guys to fully develop and get ready for the big time.
