It won’t happen, but I’d love to see Efe Ajagba get his chin tested again by someone like David Price, who I consider a very beatable journeyman that can really bang.
It would help us establish whether being decked against Iago Kiladze was simply a one-off (a common mistake that novices often make as part of the learning process) or if the heavily-hyped Nigerian possesses a glass jaw.
In all likelihood, Ajagba would dispose of the Brit within a few rounds, but I reckon that Price would likely land at least one of his bombs.
Instead, Eddie Hearn will very likely reserve David Price for Michael Hunter, which I feel is a blatant mismatch.

After that fantastic fight, I wouldn't be surprised if Rafael zumbrano loves phone is ringing.

Surely you must be kidding? That's a truly awful opponent! Ajagba would receive a hideously obscene amount of ridicule if he faced someone like that!

I think Ajagba tried to impress and finish off Kilzade lot faster than 5 rounds, done by joy joyce, kawnacki, Hunter .. and big mistake gaving kilzade a break to recover when klizade staggered on his legs on same round that dropped Ajagba.
No ... i like Ajagba fight some better than price.

I just watched chisora vs price fight now.
Price for whatever stupid reason fights bent down that makes his 6'8" hight down to 5'10" and make his chin reachable. Secondly there is absolutely non Jab existent in Price weapon arsenal. And always leaning forward, never rolls back with punches.
Probably Price has the LOWEST I.Q IN BOXING HISTORY

Why yes, cupcake, I was kidding. Not surprising your abysmal comprehension skills failed you again. Just so you can sleep tonight, I'll dumb it down for you. After a tough fight like that expect a step backwards. No need to apologize, your lack of intellect isn't your fault.

I hope to be wrong, I hope I'm not this cynical.
Yet I have almost zero expectations regarding a decent opponent/test.

No way it will be, probably a 1% chance it is zumbano. He's still got that gaudy looking record for prospects.

I still think that was the best thing to happen to him. Maybe he'll get to work on better movement of this head and feet.

I hope you are right Oog!! I still like Efe but now think he'll need more work than I originally thought he would. He seemed to regress vs Kiladze after a more impressive outing against Demirizen.

No better need. As Takam already is very tough fight.
He was pounding chisora till mid rounds before gas out, chisora had good defence and chin ... but i think Efe can beat Takam today.

Ajagba would learn an awful lot in a fight like that.

I'd love to see it. Unfortunately Takem is a bit expensive for Aggiejabbie right now.

Bryant Jennings are camp team mate with Ajagba, they train or spare togather mostly,
so i don't see that happening.
And at this stage of jenninging career he won't beat Efe.

Fair enough, if you prefer Ajagba to face someone better than David Price, then I can’t really argue with you.
That said, he at least needs to start facing “typical” sized heavyweights, because barring one or two anomalies, his opponents have generally been pretty small in stature (height and weight in comparison to most world-rated heavyweights).

David Price faced Dereck Chisora overweight and unfit at only three weeks’ notice, because Joseph Parker withdrew from the ‘Del Boy’ bout due to a last-minute injury.
It also seems likely that you’ve not seen some of his other bouts, where his jab was successful (as per the David Allen fight).
And lets’ not forget that Erkan Teper and Tony Thompson both failed drug tests immediately after beating David Price, but those results were allowed to stand.
I also successfully predicted that a fully fit David Price would provide Alexander Povetkin with a stern test, which he did. He also managed to briefly hurt Dereck Chisora.
This might sound rather controversial, but I suspect that David Price is a much bigger puncher than Iago Kiladze. I’m not saying that the Brit is better than the Georgian, but I feel he probably hits a lot harder.
Look, I’m not going to pretend that David Price is a world-beater, because he clearly isn’t, but he’s better than his resume suggests and an ideal journeyman opponent for any prospect to face.

He's facing Cojanu.
Not the worst, not the best. Has to keep busy if he's not facing better position.
