A locally huge fight between two of the Russia's finest cruiserweights was announced on the eve of the main event of the big card that was staged in Kaliningrad, Russia.

On May 6, Ruslan Fayfer (25-1, 16 KOs) will take on his always exciting compatriot Dmitry Kudryashov (24-3, 23 KOs) in Rostov-na-Donu, a huge Russian city near the coast line of the Azov sea and virtually the hometown for Kudryashov.

IBF #1, WBC #5 and WBO #6 Fayfer, 28 years old, is waiting for a chance to fight Yunier Dorticos for the red belt. He is coming off a win over another Russian - who had a great of 18-0, 17 KOs, Yuri Kashinskiy, this past November.

Faifer's sole loss came against Andrew Tabiti in the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series cruiserweight tournament in the second season.

Kudryashov, 34 years old, is a banger with dynamite in both gloves... and also has huge problems (including a porcelain chin) with his negligible defense.

Kudryashov was stopped in five by Ilunga Makabu, a recently crowned WBC 200lb champion, last June and then was taken to hell and back by mediocre journeyman Vaclav Pejsar this December in a fight where many thought he clearly lost - which ended as a highly debatable split decision in his favour.

Kudryashov is still rated #11 by the WBC and #15 by the IBF.

Kudryashov is getting worse and worse. Fayfer will KO him.

Is there anyone else with such a strong punch, yet such a weak jaw?
