well, i don't see why he couldn't be recycled as a byrd/ruiz/brewster opponent. there's so few names out there to challenge for the abc titles, so why not?

I would have thought a match against Skelton will happen, unless other world options have opened up for him in his defeat.

Williams wont get anywhere near any of those other heavies mentioned - not while he is with Sports Network. King is trying to annex the heavy titles with his own guys. And in all honesty I think with the exception of Brewster they'd all beat him.

I think he should be looking at facing Skelton or go after the European title the world titles are beyond him.

He's had his payday and we all know he's a psychological mess so fighting people in the league of Sprott is not an option. His only real option is a shot at one of the main champions in the US. Audley Harrison won't fight him.

I too think Williams have a chance against Brewester (if Brewester gets past Golota). But Williams is not a Don King figher so this may be a hard fight to make as others have said.

Golota will find a way to lose!

No way will Williams get a shot though unless he resigns with King. And in all honesty what has he done to deserve a shot? Beaten old man Tyson then an embarassing shallacking from Klitschko....

He has a chance against Brewster but who's to say he wont get knocked out in that fight?

At least try to stay in world level competition.

Tyson is not a world level competitor anymore and he was way short against Klitschko. back to the domestic scene where he belongs I am afraid.

I'd pick Maskaev to beat him and did when the fight was proposed before the beating he took from Klitschko.

It all depends on what Danny is looking for.
He is not the world class fighter some thought he was after the Tyson fight, but his CV still has Tyson on there and also the rounds he took Vitali.
So he could be the name opponent, somebody the world champ of whatever belt will use to show his worth against.

To go back to the domestic or European scene is a step back in his earning potential, he may be able to win most of his fights there but he won’t earn anything like the same money.
If he fights the top guys in America he’ll be taking a hiding but he’ll be earning more, and as with Tyson there is always a chance of the upset.

It was nothing to do with his options. Hide/Williams and Williams/Audley will never happen. All the British heavyweights are pussyfooting around each other.

I would like to see Danny fight Larry Donald sometime soon. I don't think Donald is that good, and i certainly think Danny would have a good chance of beating him.

I think he has a decent chance against either Ruiz or Byrd just not Vitali. He is big enough to throw Ruiz around when he hugs him and has the power to stop him to.

You cant be serious? Byrd would outbox him without too much trouble and Ruiz would do his usual punch, hug to grind out a decision surely. He has a better chance against Ruiz. These fights are not going to happen though as long as Williams is NOT with King and WITH Warren.

King wouldn't want Danny now even if Danny begged him. The ONLY reason King would sign Danny would be to try and get Tyson somehow (small print) onto his books. Why would King want someone who got outclassed by Vitali - he is trying to champion his charges as equal to him, if Danny runs anyone of them close, then it shows they are not (which we all know anyway).

I would still give Danny a good chance vs all of Kings' champions, especially Ruiz and I would expect him to beat Brewester.

King woud definitely sign him he's getting as many heavies on board as he can. He signed Williamson!!

Don't think Warren would give him over that easy.
