Jermall Charlo's cheap trashy talk about the offer got exposed by Eddie Hearn

“We’re not even asking you to sign a network contract or promotional contract,” said Hearn to secondsout about him wanting Jermall Charlo to fight Andrade. “Just take the fight to see if you can unify the division. So hopefully he does, because that’s the fight we need to see.”
“I’ll meet you at the Wilder fight,” said Charlo to Andrade. “Let’s turn up at Wilder-Fury. Jacobs, whoever wants to fight me, go to Wilder fight, and I’m going to pick you out the day of the fight.
“Stop playing with me. I’m the champ,” said Charlo. “What’s his name? Eddie Hearns, call Al Haymon. I don’t do that s—. You put the s— together. Eddie Hearns. You Eddie boy. B—, call Al.
“Stop calling me. You make it look like I don’t make fights,” Jermall said to Hearn. “And you stupid a– q—. You make the fights if you want to make it. Holler at me later,” said Jermall in sending a strong message to Hearn and Andrade.
“Basically, he [Jermall Charlo] doesn’t have a promotional contract, so I spoke to him on social media, and he said, ‘Send me the offer.’ So I sent him the offer,” said Hearn to IFL TV on Charlo. “He’s out there telling everyone and their dogs that he’s his own boss. You know? Lions Only Promotions, major, major.
“So I did; I sent him the offer,” said Hearn about Jermall. “Now he comes out, ‘I don’t sort out my fights. Send it to Al Haymon.‘ ‘Alright, I will, but you don’t me to send you my offer, and you told the world that you are your own boss. So you have the offer, which is probably three times more than what you’ve ever earned against [Demetrius] Andrade. Any chance for a reply?’
“I’d rather he called me that on the email, and replied on an email than doing it on Instagram live or something like that,” said Hearn. from BN24
Charlo is yapping around about what he is not gonna do. He just trying to get some buzz from this dispute about Eddie's offer. He ain't gonna fight Andrade or Jacobs.

Just 'Broner's wannabes'. Only that Broner has actually fought good fighters. They talk about 'lions' but we all know that they are just meowing.

Lot of young black fighters wanna
be like Mayweather. With 200% of his trash talk, 10% of his accomplishments and 5% of his skill. Sad. More fighting, less talking mr Charlo. Of course, if he wanna fight another Hogan, no more fighting please
True. The sad thing is that they are not even on Broner's level. lol

You can certainly count on Apollo to get to the core of any charlo issue with complete objectivity.

That too but let's be real Broner's resume is far better than Charlo's. Even if Broner lost, at least he stepped up and fought Porter, Garcia and Pacquiao.

I’m disappointed about the sheer stupidity of the comments I’ve read in this thread!
The PBC guys have a proven track record of rejecting offers from third-party networks and promoters, despite most of them being self-promoted, network free agents and/or self-managed.
Loyalty to their home networks, the PBC brand and Al Haymon seems to be something that is held in high regard.
Lou DiBella, who previously worked with Deontay Wilder on a fight-by-fight basis, has essentially been blacklisted from the PBC, Showtime and Fox, because he tried to negotiate a multi-fight deal for Deontay Wilder to make the jump to DAZN.
He essentially tried to weaken his business partners by trying to orchestrate a move for one of their most prized assets to make the jump to one of their rivals, without their involvement.
The likes of Deontay Wilder, Adrien Broner, Errol Spence Jr. and other fighters associated to Al Haymon also previously rejected numerous offers to leave the PBC and join DAZN. The same applies to ESPN also.
In fact, Eddie Hearn has regularly complained about situation when he said the following:
"We came in with a load of money and I expected loads of people to just sign for us," Hearn told British journalist Ron Lewis this past October. "It has been harder than I thought it would have been. ESPN and PBC have dug their heels in and we’ve had to overpay fighters to come to us or stay with us.”
For instance, Sergiy Derevyanchenko (a largely unknown fighter with thirteen victories on his ring ledger) received a $5.2 million purse to fight Golovkin.
I suspect the reason for this is due to ESPN and Fox being reluctant to allow their biggest stars to compete on the DAZN platform, because from a business perspective, doing otherwise would help one of their rivals grow and become more competitive.
The preferred narrative of many people from this forum is that Jermall Charlo is somehow “ducking” and “cowardly”, because it’s a far more interesting “story” than mundane reality.

Ok, maybe it should be "PBC is ducking and cowardly"

Perhaps the PBC, Showtime and Fox are “
cowardly” for making it difficult for their fighters to compete on rival platforms.
Maybe they’re “
ducking” the business ramifications of doing this.
So you could very well be right!
Regardless, people are blaming the situation on individual fighters, whilst blatantly ignoring the ‘big picture’ and the general trend, as well as everything else that has transpired with all the other guys affiliated with Haymon, the PBC, Showtime and Fox.

I agree, but people other are focusing on Broner and Charlo allegedly saying “no”, whilst failing to appreciate the big picture.
I’m not pretending that Broner or the Charlo’s are the nicest guys on the planet and all three of them deserve our respect, because that would be utter nonsense. Dislike them as much as you want, as far as I'm concerned.
It just seems utterly bizarre for those guys to take the blame for heavily-publicised business decisions.
It seems the forum preference is to be gullible and wholeheartedly believe Hearn’s rhetoric, rather than appreciate reality.

Think the PBC boxers need to shut up then and stop acting like they will fight anyone anywhere or denying receiving offers etc. It is partly their fault.

You’re probably right, some of the PBC fighters themselves superficially appear to be partially to blame for this situation, but they’re only a very small piece of a large jigsaw… and what will never be disclosed to the public is the amount of control they actually have over their own destiny.
Business decisions always take priority over sporting goals. And as sad as that might seem, that is the reality of professional boxing. It’s the reason why boxers are known as “PRIZE fighters” rather than “PRIDE fighters”.
That being said, I honestly don’t believe that any fighter is “scared” to face any of their rivals. I feel that they all possess an “anyone, anytime” mentality, but their handlers may not feel that way.
We really only ever hear one side of the story when it comes to things like this, but I do feel that the obstacles that prevent many fights from being made are put in place by both the boxing content providers and the networks themselves.
It would be naïve to believe otherwise.
This means that ESPN (Bob Arum), DAZN (Oscar De La Hoya & Eddie Hearn) and Fox/Showtime (Al Haymon) are the guys we should really be blaming, not the fighters.
It would be foolish, to the point of being utterly preposterous, to believe that Jermall Charlo can simply click his fingers and make the jump to DAZN without involving his handlers, business partners and home network.

The Charlos seem to be limited but fit and tough guys.
Would love to see the slowing down Golovkin take on the middleweight Charlo. Most likely be a brutally entertaining fight.

They have to mumble something about fighting anyone anywhere otherwise the people may call them duckers, cherrypickers, protected fighters, etc.

Golovkin did his hard work and he's at the end of his career. Now let Charlo to step up and fight stable names like Derevyanchenko, Eubank Jr and Benavidez.
