Fair point but he entered in to the super 6 when he was still relatively unknown and beat Kessler in his first fight albeit by head butting his way to victory

Then he sued a promoter who got him into Super 6 and started tuning up.

He just moved up to LHW though and Kovalev was still taking care of some business too wasn’t he?
