Will Gomez come a cropper against Limond?

it seems this is his next fight and call me crazy but I give Limmond a real chance here. Although he lost to Arthur, I was impressed by him and he's done quite well since. I haven't actually seen him fight since that though but he does have the tools to give Gomez some problems. How has he looked since the Arthur fight?..

I'll take Gomez late here but he'll need to be on form. It would be a complete disaster if Limmond beat him.

Limmond is a very live underdog IMO. Do you think he can do it?

I think Limond can win, but i dont think he will.

Limond hasnt looked to good lately, but he has been beating decent fighters like Youssef Djibaba and Alberto Lopez. His win over Youssef Djibaba looks very impressive seeing Djibaba went on to beat Ali Oubaali in his next bout.

I think Limonds big problem is his stamina, he looked exhausted in the later rounds of the his fights with Djibaba and Lopez, but i can understand why...

The Djibaba fight was the first time Willie had completed 10 rounds as a pro and the Lopez fight was the second time. So i think he is still getting used to fighting in these long distance fights, and still learning. Limond would have more of a chance of winning this fight a year from now IMO.

I think Willie will box well in the early rounds but Gomez will stop him somewhere around the 9th round...i would love to be proven wrong though and see Limond win. :)

Gomez is to strong for Limond. Gomez can be hurt, but won't be by Limond in a 12 round contest I cannot see Limond keeping him off.

Gomez by 8th round KO, Limond might win the first couple of rounds but then it will be all Gomez in a one sided affair. Its all about styles and Limond's style is suited for Gomez, he doesn't have the power to keep him away.

I agree with the general consensus, Limond seems to be struggling more than ever and i doubt he has the strength to keep a marauding Gomez at bay...i think once Gomez catches up with Willie (who may steal some early rounds) i think he will smash him up i'm afraid. Gomez TKO Mid Rounds.
