Cobb was quite durable, he could remain on his feet, but still Wilder would get a stoppage win, at least a TKO or RTD.

Yeah. Cobb was a tough son of a gun. I think the referee steps in and Wilder gets the win by TKO.

I actually think Cobb could win this. It could play out like the Cobb-Shavers fight. Cobb took everything Shavers could throw, and the accumulation of his own punches finally stopped Shavers. Wilder doesn't punch as hard as Shavers nor throw nearly as many punches. Cobb could probably survive.
And if this is for 15 rounds, Cobb would have an even better chance to stop Wilder or win a decision.

Comfortably take Cobb over 15. He had a great sense of humor and Holmes was great so he gets looked at as a joke. He'd handle the couple bombs wilder throws and out work him.

Cobb would take it to Wilder.He fought and beat better punchers that also had more skills than Wilder.He had heart stamina and after Wilder couldn't swing no more ,Cobb would keep punching away til the referee stops it.
