Saensak Muangsurin won the WBC jr. welter belt in his third fight in 1975, So no, not “everyone” (I.e. those who followed boxing before 2010) knows Loma set the standard, particularly since Loma had six previous “professional” fights with the World Series of Boxing, Murata’s paper belt is a secondary belt so doesn’t really count unless you think interim or “regular” belt holders are “world champions.”

Thanks for the clarification!! :TU:

No need to quibble over semantics. I said Loma has the standard, which he shares with Muangsurin. Like the thread title says, this list is only for "RECENT CHAMPS WHO GOT FAST-TRACKED TO A WORLD TITLE". Loma matched the current standard of original record-setter Muangsurin, who set the record 45 years ago. BoxRec (along with many other sources) doesnt count WSB bouts as professional bouts, and neither do I. There were several other fighters from before this past decade who were also fast-tracked to their world titles as well:

Veeraphol Sahaprom 4 (1995)
Jeff Fenech 7 (1985)
Muangchai Kittikasem 7 (1989)
Sung-Kil Moon 7 (1988)
Leon Spinks 8 (1978)
Sot Chitalada 8 (1989)
Joichiro Tatsuyoshi 8 (1991)
Nabuo Nashiro 8 (2006)
