Where would you rate him in the British heavyweight division? Number 2 behind Lennox?

Yeah he’s still behind Lennox for me, if he beats aj( which I think he will) and then has several defences against the likes of Whyte , usyk, Ruiz.dubious/Joyce winner etc will he over take Lennox ?

If he beats AJ and say Usyk,, then he'll start to give Lennox some competition. I dunno how many more fights Fury is gonna have, but I hope he doesn't waste them on soft defences.

AJ, Usuk and Whyte would be a nice next 3 fights. Hrgovic would be a decent scalp too, if Hrgovic is still undefeated by then.

Behind Lennox for me as well. I would take Lewis to beat Fury any day.

No. Lennox’s overall quality of opposition was far better. Obviously not Fury’s fault that the division is so much weaker now, but even with those wins I don’t think his resume would be close to Lewis.

Far behind Lennox, still believe AJ is the current number one... I mean he does hold the majority of the belts and faced tougher opposition than Tyson in general.

Winner of AJ vs Fury has the potential to be number one in history.

I'm a fan of both, but it's difficult for Fury to prove himself in this era, one where Ortiz is still a top 10 fighter at 53

I think fury sees the game for what it is. He’ll have a soft, money grabbing defence then cash out vs AJ. I don’t think he’s too fussed about legacy or being an ATG. And I don’t blame him tbh, I would imagine his old man will have instilled in him a ‘get in, get the money and run’ attitude from a young age (being an ex fighter himself)

Number 2.

He'd have to beat AJ, Whyte and Usyk to be #1 for me.

1. Lennox Lewis.
2. Tyson Fury.

And The Gypsy King will become #1 once.

More seriously, I would personally have Fury at number 2 but wouldn’t particularly argue if someone had Joshua above him. Just hope they actually fight and we can settle it once and for all.

Behind Lewis. There's not enough viable opposition out there at the moment to allow Fury to overtake Lennox...

However, reading how bad you all think Wilder is and how he can’t box and only has his big punch, maybe we shouldn’t get too excited! Beating Tom Schwartz and Otto Wallin isn’t going to get you ATG status...

Even Wilder's biggest detractors on here didn't predict the absolute humiliating beat-down that Fury dished out. Jeff Lacy got off lightly in comparison to that.

Still second to Lewis and probably always will be.

Having said that, winning a world title away from home twice is an impressive feat. Hats off to him. Hope he stays healthy and happy and is fulfilled by this win this time.

Nothing has changed he's been #2 since he beat Wlad, who will always be the best name on his resume.

The division is absolutely dire now, so I don't think Fury will ever be able to catch Lewis...he'd need about 20 title defenses and at least a couple other fighters to achieve something before he gets them. Fury is good enough to be in the conversation, but he'll never be able to prove it given the peers he's got available.

For now? That win was soooo good but he’s a country mile off Lennox, who beat Bruno, Tyson, Holyfield, Rahman, Tua, Vitali, Grant, Morrison, Briggs, Mercer, Botha, Golata, Tucker. Fury’s miles off that resume

Lewis is number one by a country mile,Fury is number 2 followed closely by AJ,AJ has the better resume at the minute but Fury has two of the best heavyweights of the last 17 years on his record other than them there isnt anyone else tbh. Fury beats AJ imo by same way he beat wilder.

I'd say, with Wilder's scalp Fury's resume became better for sure. And Fury is closer to Lewis than on a mile. I agree about the other points though.
