Why is there talk of a rematch?
This was a one sided mauling. Fury could have slid his cock up Wilders arse if he wznted.

Apart from the payday,no.He has been outboxed in one fight and battered in the other, what could Wilder do differently in a 3rd fight ?

Wilder will want the payday, but the timing will depend on how quickly his injuries can recover.
I believe the original plan was for the third bout to take place in June, but that currently seems unrealistic.
Perhaps Fury can engage in an interim bout against Whyte or Joshua before facing Wilder again.

Wilder should start it up on social media with a feud with Joshua. Ko him then demand rematch

Not a bad idea. Winner then faces Fury

If he loses, he's going to struggle pushing his image for a while. It's probably worth a fight or two against someone ranked like Kownacki, Ruiz, Martin to keep himself near the top (picked them as they're PBC which he seems to favour). I'd love to see him face Whyte while Fury and AJ unify but that seems unlikely.

I vote yes just to get it out the way. I know people will try and tell themselves it was just like AJ-Ruiz 1 but it wasn't. It was Fury-Wilder 2.
How many fights does he have left on his American contract? Wilder and two plumbers? Don't drag it out. AJ is THE fight now.
They'll absolutely drag it out, though.

That's a rubbish idea and you know it.

What else would he do? If he goes again he’s still in the mix and he makes a mint. So, yes I say. Anyway let’s see how he‘s doing first.

After this, Wilder should take a relatively easy opponent to regain his confidence.

He should demand it if he has any pride.
I don't personally want to see a third fight just yet, if at all, but Wilder absolutely should do it from his own perspective, especially if he plans to continue fighting.
He's 35 years old & he won't get a payday of the same magnitude anywhere else.
The only way I believe he shouldn't demand an immediate rematch is if Hearn offers him a shot at Joshua first, but there's little likelihood of that happening I believe.

No way should AJ even have any intention of fighting Wilder anymore. They tried to freeze him out and now Wilder doesn't have the belt.

I think you are right. AJ (and Hearn) will not accept the fight against Wilder at least by the end of 2021.

No need in the rematch. Wilder objectively lost 2 fights. The majority picked Fury in the 1st one. And in the 2nd one Wilder was totally bewildered, outfought, outclassed, mauled and destroyed. Wilder needs a fight of the top level. If he wants to retire, he can take on a rematch.

Yes, but I suppose Wilder is a very proud man, end he will try to do everything he can in order to revenge this loss.

Wilder is finished. His one trick has been taken away from him and his fragile confidence is gone for life. No rematch will happen he was beaten twice anyway.

I mean he could, but what would the point be? I think a vast majority thought Fury took the first, and he obviously owned the second from start to finish. This was no fluke, this was a simple case of the better man being more prepared than he’d been in the previous fight which he still should have won.
Wilder should get back to familiar territory of knocking out bums for his next 3 or 4 and then try to get a different Brit. Whyte, Chiapas, or maybe try to lure Dubois to a fight a little before he’s ready?

Sometimes a fighter never recovers from their first KO loss.
Why risk getting stopped by a Kowancki or Charles Martin? Perhaps a no risk fight against a Cojani or whatever his name is, but would that be a confidence builder?
I'd go for the rematch if I was Wilder.

He's better gambling on the rematch and getting the big pay day rather than stepping down a level at his age.
Going to be interesting. I think he knows he was beaten up. When the two fighters spoke after the fight he said "you're an incredible fighter" or words to that effect.

That could happen, but I wouldn't write off Wilder chances yet. Both guys are capable of hurting the other. Wilder never recovered from the ear shot in the 3rd round. Of course Fury is the better boxer and he had a great victory, but Wilder's punch is still dangerous unless he free falls of course.
