Wilder to activate rematch clause

And is fully blaming the costume 😂

1) makes toegate seem like nothing in comparison
2) fury getting carried to the ring is IQ 9000 😂
3) makes AJ look like a hero for the way he handled defeat
4) fighters that make excuses always come off worse in the ring. At least AJ addresses his flaws and didn’t blame it on the weight of his hat or the shoes he wore or something

Suppose it will be one more 10 million dollar payday before he retires , and who can blame him , what else can he do fight Ruiz , i said it before the Fury fight Ruiz would beat him ,, Dillan , he's probably in with a chance has well, Tyson set the path others will follow , facts are except for an aging ORTIZ ,, wILDER HAS NEVER REALLY STOOD UP TO THE PLATE , he's been hand fed opposition , and not had to work hard ,,Once he was made to work hard instead of lazilly waiting to hit you with his hail mary punch he faded quickly , and at 35 he's not gonna change ..

So the best option is take the rematch , grab the cash and retire , blame it on his next ringwalk , when he loses again ,, Because lets have it right , he's now lost 17 out of 19 rnds to Tyson , can't really see any reason to think he will do anything else next except get battered more than he just did

Good to know the former reigning heavyweight champion of the world would struggle to take the shopping in.

next time he gets counted out as he will tell the corner not to throw the towel so he can " go out on his shield like a true warrior "

He's got balls, I'll give him that. Wilder can not fight, all he has is power and if that doesn't work he's f*cked.

I have a bad feeling about this.

How does the fight sell enough to make business sense when considering the purses?

Wilder should take step aside money maybe (if it's possible) and rebuild his confidence. He's still a top HW capable of anything on the night.

I can’t see it being as big as the last or even the first, it was far too conclusive

Isn’t Wilder 35 now? Maybe it’s his last gasp, all or nothing.

It kind of makes sense Wilder would prefer to cash out with Fury, rather than be put into a gatekeeper type role against up and comers. Still another 7 round beat down probably won't do much for his health.

Whether you think he has a chance in the third fight or not this was bound to happen as its just too much money to turn down if he's going to continue fighting as he won't get this sort of offer against anyone else.

And obviously in the hype up they can point to Wilder’s fight changing power and the # of knockdowns, wobbles and crisis points that Fury has suffered, which isn’t that far from double digits.

Indeed, everyone will fancy it vs Wilder now and will be more willing to take risks and gamble taking him out.

Really though he can activate it all he wants ,, the big question is WHO is going to front the big money up ,, Surely after oly winning 2 rnds out of the first fight and getting a complete belting in the second ,, he's not gonna sell a rematch and get anywhere near the money , I just can't see this next one getting the buys , or the attendance , so who's gonna pay

This is what I think too. How does it add up commercially?

Good call by Wilder to activate the rematch clause. Now if Fury/Warren/Arum want to go straight to AJ, then they need to pay Wilder some step aside money.

I can't imagine he actually wants the rematch but claiming he does and then negotiating a few million to step aside is a smart move

Unless he asks too much and Tyson , digs his heels in and says well lets do it ,

Come on now, I've never been Wilder's biggest fan, and his excuses are starting to grate massively.

But he is better than being mocked by some gimp who lost f*cking euro vision.

Nah he set himself up. Now it's Andre Dirrell's fault apparently? Joke

Best course for him would be take step aside money and fight Whyte- the winner then fights the winner of Fury v Joshua
