Breland Worries War Wilder Worries Battle

Three Fights! 60/40 or 40/60. Trilogy this and trilogy that by everyone on the lead up to the rematch.
This is a war and not a single battle. Battle 1 was a disputed draw. Battle 2 was for 4-5 months with the tile and more or less money in the 3rd. Battle 3 is the man who walks away in the clear with the belt and wins the war.
Both co trainers of Wilder made the same mistake in the corner by not warning him that they would stop him if he kept getting clobbered and didn't get going. That can result in an adrenaline rush for a fighter. It was desperate times and they needed a desperate measure like that. It was very clear to everybody else how Wilder was being brutally dominated.
When the stoppage happened that was a great job by Breland. The other trainer screwed up again there. You gotta protect a fighter who is being destroyed that badly. The context of this trilogy makes it even more sound to protect the fighter. There is no climb that needs to be made after a loss to get back to the title it is already guaranteed. Wilder has a better chance now to win the third fight because he was stopped than if he had been allowed to continue to get pummeled into oblivion. Breland gave him the best chance to win the war. Retreat now and regroup. Come back again because the war is not over.
Those who are upset about this stoppage in Team Wilder are not on point. Fink was wrong. The co trainer was wrong. Wilder is wrong. That battle was not the be all end all of the war unless somebody got so damaged there was no way they could participate in a rematch. Wilder was heading into that kind of territory. Breland showed heart and sound generalship in what he did. The rest of the group are just lame.
Instead of all the crap they have said while Breland is pushed aside and silent they should have let him talk and lead the narrative. There is a bigger picture...I know DeOntay better than anybody and he was not right tonight...even the greatest have lost but coming back is what made them the greatest....We will be back next time and you will see the real DeOntay Wilder come out just like you have in all his other fights...tonight was not our night...he just didn't have it.
Anyways that is my take on Breland and the stoppage. He did the strategically right thing. He was the only one on the team with enough sense to comprehend the whole picture.
