What are some you can think of?

Augustus/Burton is a recent one, but still horrendous.

I have always been puzzled by the ending of Buchanan-Duran, although not a "bad decision" as such but the way it was stopped after a blatant low blow...Ken was taking some punishment and wouldn't have lasted much longer agreed but it was a weird ending. Anyone shed any light?

Why should Duran have been DQd? Even if the ref had the benefit of a slow motion replay which he didnt and even if you could prove it was an intentional low blow which you cant, then Buchanan had to recover in five minutes or lose the contest. Period. If you want to bring personal records into this then show me when Duran was ever DQd in a fight...

Duran didn't just land a low blow - he landed it after the bell. Intentional or not doesn't matter. There's a very strong case for a DQ. Buchanan wasn't given five minutes. I don't think that rule was in effect yet. Look at the tape and you'll see that the ref called the fight off almost as soon as Buchanan's people cried foul. It doesn't make sense. All I can figure is that LoBianco was intimidated by the MSG pro-Duran crowd who would have been infuriated by Duran losing when he was so clearly on the way to victory.
Anybody know why Buchanan didn't get a rematch?[/i]

Roy Jones Jr losing to the Korean in the Olympic finals.

Fenech Vs Azumah Nelson I - Fenech clearly won that fight and almost KO'd Azumah in the 12th -

Plus the Whitaker / Chavez fight was another sh*t dec -

As was the Whitaker / De La Hoya - (Whitaker won that one to - though it was a little closer).

I think that the decision in Roy Jones' final bout
in the 1988 Olympics was the worst one that I
have seen in person or on television, pros or
amateurs.

Since I started following boxing in the early
1970s, the decision in the bout between
Alfredo Escalera and Tyrone Everett may
have been the worst one in the professional
ranks. No, I did not see this bout, but I
have read many accounts and can say
that the feeling among eyewitnesses
is that the decision was incrediably
bad because Everett appeared to win
by a large margin. Moreover, there
was a rumor about a judge being bought
off.

Buchanan getting a 5 minute rest after being low blowed wouldn't have mattered anyways, he was way behind in the fight and would have only been beat up more. Duran did him and favour by sending him home early.

A terrible decision was Thomas Hearns draw Ray leonard, Thomas had done more then enough to win including two knockdowns in the fight in his favour. But that bastard Dalby Shirley fucked up another card by going for the wrong man once again... shouldn't he be shot already for the crap he's pulled through out his judging career?
