Thoughts on this 90s heavyweight match up that did not happen.

Would've been interesting. Moorer would've given his best, and maybe took a few rounds, but I just can't imagine his chin holding up to Tyson's shots. If Tyson had a REALLY off night (or like if Moorer were his first fight back out of Prison) maybe Moorer could win a decision, but I think 96% of the time Tyson knocks him out somewhere over the course of 12 rounds.

Moorer seemed to morph into a heavyweight overnight, I was excited about his presence at light Heavy he looked a proper beast, would’ve been interesting to see his career play out at that weight.

Yeah, prime Moorer seemed to be better than Tyson in the 90s, but 90s Tyson in his best version still could deliver to shaky chin of Moorer.

This is an interesting match up, because Moorer had a style that could give the 90's Tyson trouble. In this case, I would have to go against the style and give the nod to Tyson by knockout or TKO. Moorer had lapses in concentration. That would be suicide against Tyson, even in the 90's...in my opinion.

Depends on when in the 90s.

Around about late '91 or '92 before Tyson got banged up, I think he KOs Moorer in a fairly dominant fashion.

After '95, I think Moorer has more of a chance to get the win, but I think ultimately he still gets sparked Francois Botha style.

As soon as Tyson landed anything, it would be over.

Tyson of the 90s would knock him out too.
