Sling 4 heavybag

Im 39 years old, started boxing at 16 years of age. Im too lazy and unmotivated these days to go to boxing gyms but recently I installed my very first heavybag. I watched some videos about that Hw bag sling thing and for me it makes sense. Metal on metal is bad but the sling would need to be tied or placed on an open hook or something and youd have to wait a week or two for it to arrive in the mail. For these reasons I just went to my local hardware store and bought some strong rope and its done its job now for around 9 months so I am happy with the results, also dealing with a low ceiling and two connection points ceiling To swivel and swivel To bag I think that rope was a really good option.
