That would be Chavez most impressive career performance by a lot. Not impossible by any stretch, pretty unlikely. I don't think he was faster.

For the great Julio Cesar Chavez to win, he gotta be at his very best a la Edwin "Chapo" Rosario's best. IF he comes less than that, it could be a nightmare for him. Even a loss by tko. The Professor was a hell of a fighter.

Probably a draw. Both high level greats.

Chavez naturally bigger and better I believe Nelson would take a beating in this fight . Chavez never had trouble with aggressive fighters like Nelson .

Tough fight to pick. Chavez was bigger/stronger fighter, I would go with a close decision for JC with a rally late to win

Nelson was a great fighter, but a really hard shot could put him on his back foot and playing defense for a couple rds, he'd have his moments scoring with combinations, but JCC pressure and body punching would win the day. Chavez by about 3 pts.
