I’m pretty certain it’s real, I know at least 4 people who have lost family members to it, I’m also related to a nurse who is in constant tears and in the verge or a breakdown because she’s never seen so many people die. More than a dozen died during one of her shifts recently.

The word my grandsons mother uses is conveyor belt of patients. And she runs a Corona virus ward.

It Sounds bloody awful out there for them, one of her nurse friends got it and now she’s in a bad way too.

I’d like to think so but I doubt it, they are going well above and beyond, they didn’t sign up to risking their own lives. Maybe Boris will get some humility after they saved his bacon and look after them.

Yeah, there is genuine risk that medical professionals could suffer PTSD.

The government will need to do more for doctors and nurses than they have done for former servicemen down the years.

This situation could have the massive knock on effect of discouraging people from going into the medical profession in future.

The government will need to either raise wages to increase recruitment or allow higher immigration to make up the shortfall. Neither of which the tories want to do.

My neighbour told me his Auntie died after contracting Covid-19 the other day, I have never met his Auntie and have no way of coroborating it. But I see no reason to disbelieve him.

By Crawford's reasoning, I should have told him to stop lying and invited him and his perfectly healthy Auntie over for a bbq.
