Any ideas who this would be?
Gareth Davies would surely be an odds-on favourite.

its true, the only reason he never went further in boxing is that his extensive bareknuckle career meant the stylistic differences were too difficult to adjust to, he could never get used to the gloves when he'd done so much stuff on the cobbles. he developed his own punching style specifically to cause cuts, if you look at his knuckles they're flattened down from the extensive hardening & conditioning he did with them.
