15 Rounds Light Heavyweight Bout
Lalonde would out-box Tiger behind his long jabs and combinations without exchanging punches with him to take a decision. If Lalonde decide to try to trade shots with Tiger, who hurt him with counters and left hooks to take another side of a decision or late round stoppage. What do you guys think?

Dick Tiger is a hall of fame great boxer. Dude beat Gene Fullmer, Joey Giardelllo, Rubin Carter, Jose Torres and Nino Benvenuti. You think he will have problems vs. Donny Lalonde? C'mon. you are out of your mind. Bobby Czyz who beat a still relatively young Donny Lalonde (I remember that bout) would beat Dick Tiger, too. right? No f'in way.
Lalonde beat past prime over his best weight Mustafa Hamsho. He also beat Leslie Stewart. Did I mention Tiger beat Fullmer, Giardello, Carter, Torres and Benvenuti? This bout is a mismatch. Taking nothing away from Donny Lalonde. He was a world champion and had a very good career. Again, Tiger is a hall of fame great.
Here you go, Sugar Ray Leonard would have never challenged Tiger at 168 for his comeback bout after Ray was out of boxing for awhile after decisioning Hagler. Ray, now looking to box 21 pounds above his best weight of 147 pounds, would have wanted to go after someone easier. Someone like, Donny Lalonde.
Donny Lalonde was a very good boxer and a world champion. Hat's off to him. Dick Tiger is legendary hall of fame material in boxing. Boxing inside, outside, throwing punches upstairs, downstairs, both defensively and offensively ...Dick Tiger was a great champion.
