Two great heavyweight champions at their very best of their abilities. Both only have one loss at this point in their careers.
Who wins and why?
I would pick Ali. More stamina, faster hands and feet and determination.

Lewis. He had a great ability of using his size, he had more power and he could deliver it.

Muhammad Ali would box circles around Lennox Lewis as Muhammad is landing his jab and follow up combos; peppering Lennox with punches moving in and out side to side. By the late rounds he would be landing at will, and a weary Lennox would be outpointed by a wide margin. Prime Ali is too slick and too fast. Ali is too damn good.

Amen. Ali's prime was 1964-1967. During his prime he would beat Lewis easily. It's a no-brainer.

I don't mind, if someone somehow picks Ali over Lewis, but picking Ali to do it easily...

Ali by decision. May be a boring fight. Ali spends 90% of fight on toes. Scores a quick combo, moves away, repeat.

I picture the fight the same way. And when Ali had to plant his feet and trade, he was much faster.

Oh darn, I was hoping you were going to expand on Lewis' ability to use his size which would have helped him so much in this fight.
