Anyone know what happened to him. Has only fought once since the David Walker fight and is know longer the EBU Champion. I saw the knew champion fight on the Viet vs Brewer bill. He was okay, but not a patch on Karmazin.

Any news on him.

Funny lot boxers are they not? He looked class, I know it was only against Walker but he did look a class act.

As with Khaliq who I posted about the other day, they just go missing....

Sergio Martínez is another one. I was hoping he and Karmazin would meet one day.

Remember there were noises about Karmazin possibly going up to fight the likes of DLH? Incidently, has anyone seen the Castillejo fight? I see it was held in Madrid. Spain has produced some cracking hometown decisions in the past, was this another, or was it legit?

Karmazin probably suffers from being too good, not high profile, and too dangerous for any of the big boys to offer him a shot.

thought he looked fantastic against walker, but then again he looked a weight division bigger than walker too.,

Haven't seen the fight yet, but here Castillejo was a deserving winner. Castillejo might be one of the more underated fighters around - it was a good performance by DLH to make him look like a paper contendor.

Karmazin was ranked number #1 by one of the leading organisations when he was under the Sports Network banner.

Agree about Castillejo and the DLH fight. Also, I'm pretty sure it was the WBC Karmazin was rated #1 for.

Yeah i have seen that fight and your right about that.

INACTIVE due to legal wranglings between allegedly and Phillipe Fondu,FW( as supposedly contracted promoter) alledgedly trying to screw the fighter and manager again.

oh come on, virtually anyone at worldish level could look good against area level punchbags who can't take a punch.

personally i din't think karmazin looked as great as everyone in the bbc box were saying, richie was drooling over this guy, i can't really see why.

I am sort of in agreement with you there Riddick, although i would suggest he could more than hold his own at world level i think it was the overrawed Walker's courage that led him into the awaiting jab of the more experienced and higher level operator, Karmazin didn't really do a great deal else in the fight and Walker got to him a lot more than people remember that night.

I would say Karmazin and Martinez suffer from the same problem, both have a seat in the "who needs him club".

Give Don King chance, he hasn't signed up all the competition yet

Yeah DK signed him up and said he will get a shot....He has been given a shot yet though....shame he is a good fighter.
