An interesting matchup. Gomez looked technically solid and polished, but his opposition was far from stellar. Makabu has shown more of vulnerability, but he has proven to be an excellent fighter and has already captured arguably better scalps, than Gomez had during his reign. Makabu would make it a fight. It would be close in any case, I believe.
