Fury would stop Jeffries by the 6th or so.

Fury doesn't have the power to hurt Jeffries. Despite Fury's "elusiveness", Jeffries breaks him down and wins. Jeffries by TKO 17.

Ask me again when Fury is retired, and his career is over.

I didn't even pay attention to that.
Don't know why you even bothered pitching this matchup.
Fury would beat THAT Jeffries in 4 or 5 one sided rounds I'd imagine.
What do you propose next Margarito with the handwraps vs Paul Williams after the accident?

Like me they probably assumed you meant prime for prime.
Why you'd pick a Jeffries that retired for 6 years, and came back just to lose for big money seems stupid.
Basically you created this thread just to be a wise ass, which is all well and good. I enjoy a bit of levity.

Most famous, and toughest opponent ain't the same thing.
Conor McGregor was Mayweather's 2nd most famous fight for instance. Wouldn't even be one of his 30 toughest opponents. Sometimes the public talks themselves into believing a fight is bigger or better than it is.
Usually the reasons for that are bigger than the sport itself.
