Relieved champion boxer and Olympic contender Ginny Fuchs has thanked the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) and spoken of her relief after proving that her positive drugs tests were the result of unprotected sex with her boyfriend.

Fuchs' place at the Tokyo Olympic Games was under threat as she faced an anxious wait to discover whether her argument that she had ingested traces of banned substances while having unprotected sex with her boyfriend would result in a reprieve from the doping body.

The flyweight Olympic trials number one tested positive for two banned substances in an out-of-competition test in February but insisted she had been clueless that sex sessions with her partner, who had consumed the substances in products he bought, could put her at risk.

"I was in complete shock," the Sugar Ray Robinson and Anthony Joshua fan told Fox 26. "I had no idea where [the banned substances] had come from, knowing I had never ingested anything.



“I had no idea that I could become contaminated by way of intimate contact with another person.

"I am very relieved that USADA saw that my case was very unique, gave me a ‘no fault’ and cleared me, which allowed me to resume my career immediately."

Experienced fighter Fuchs had feared that the saga would hinder a career that could lead to gold at the rescheduled games in 2021, when she is aiming to repeat the victory that saw her finish first at the Olympic Test Event in Japan in October.



“I’m just grateful it’s behind me and I can now focus on my preparation for Tokyo," she admitted. “I just want my fellow athletes to learn from my mistake.

"I’ve learned an important lesson: always take the necessary precautions in any case, especially with intimate contact. I don’t want them to get blindsided by my unique experience.”

I’ve read the official USADA statement and I’m a little confused.

It seems that USADA let Fuch off the hook, because they believed her excuse for accidently ingesting multiple PED's, due to her giving a BJ to her drug cheat bodybuilding boyfriend.

Her male partner wouldn't have been prescribed medication for a female drug used to treat cancer and also a banned cancer-causing anti-obesity drug. And it's irrelevant whom purchased these drugs, if it was possible to buy them over-the-counter, without a prescription.

The drugs that were accidently "consumed" apparently help combat the side effects of anabolic steroids (helping to build mass, when used in conjunction with steroids), cause weight loss and also improve stamina, hence the reason why they're included in WADA's banned substance list.

USADA's official statement only states that they "came" to their conclusion after performing thorough research, but I would have loved to have read how they actually performed this so-called research.

Well, that's one more to add to the drug cheat excuse handbook. Although I'm not too certain it's one that many male boxers might consider using.

There's really never been a popular female Athlete in any sport that wasn't at least mildly attractive. It's not fair really, but a Woman has to be a looker to get anywhere in sports.

Talent is secondary. They'd rather watch the pretty girl who can win half the time than they would the ugly girl who wins all the time.

Yep. Just look at that Fuch'in jaw. She's either sucked off thousands or has doped up plenty. Somehow she gets a pass. Olympic testing has always been a matter of "who you know". Of course USADA clears it's own.

These testing orgs need to figure out whether they are banning drug use, or purposeful drug use. If your boyfriend is a bodybuilder and you are aware that he is taking two very common bodybuilding drugs and you still swallow then that seems pretty purposeful to me.

If "not being aware" is enough to throw out a banned result expect to see a lot more contaminated meats, supplements, and d*cks in the near future.

We've seen a lot of examples of positives being blamed on tainted supplements and still coming with a ban. To me, this sets a pretty bad precedent for the anti-drugs in sport crowd.

Also, I'd be VERY interested to see what research USADA is using to verify this claim. GW1516 was pulled from clinical trials since it caused cancer at higher than expected rates so to my knowledge there are no human trials they can look at. There are very limited studies using letrozole in men since it's intended purposes were originally for women. I will say too that the vast majority of steroid using men I know use tamoxifen (which has also been around a lot longer) to keep their gyno in check. Anecdotal, I know, but still...

I am aware of a few studies done that looked at the transmission of chemicals through semen, but nothing that would absolutely verify this claim.

I personally believe drugs should be allowed in sports so it really doesn't matter to me. If these drug testing agencies actually want to be taken seriously, however, they will need to figure out what is punishable and what is not because right now they seem to be all over the place.

Also, look for a massive growth in gay athletes in the near future...

IIRC, USADA out of hundreds of pro boxers tested has only ever caught 1 pro boxer using, and that fight went ahead anyway. Wanna use and still fight, get tested by USADA
