Dunno if Collins is skint, but was all talk. He blatently ducked JC too, now he is saying he has a letter from the WBO Doctor saying he had a foot injury.

Not according to Jimmy Tibbs and Ronnie Davies (Eastman's trainer)? Collins was sparring Eastman for his comeback in 1999, at the Lennox Lewis gym under Tibbs, and stopped the sparring in the very first round (his first round back) because he had a headache. He then passed out and was taken to hospital.

No idea where such nonsense has come from that Eastman knocked him out. A bloke down a pub maybe.

Eubank fought those risky fights with top southpaws Rocchi (Germany) and Calz (banger) where Roy & Steve never wouldve

In 97 Stevie simply ducked Joe, no other way around it,- bitched a retirement a week or so before the fornicating fight!

Good stuff. We fans tend to only go on what we see in the fights.

As the guys mentioned there's a lot more going on. In particular the business end of it seems to often screw things up for the fans. Must also be tough to see lesser fighters walking away with more money too.

Then there's all the stuff in training and camp.
Boxers have an almost unwritten code to never bring up prefight issues, and we don't want to hear them, but they all matter.

It was interesting when Johnny Nelson said to Roy that things changed once a blueprint to beat him had been found. I totally agree with Steve Collins in that no boxer is perfect, they all have weaknesses that can be found and targeted by a well prepared opponent. Classic case was Tunney against Dempsey.

Anyway, it's great to see all the guys still in good nick. I was getting a bit worried about Roy but he looked and sounded well.

At the end of the day, if he wants to fight again, it's his life and his choice. He has to decide what's best for him and those who care for him. Same goes for Steve Collins.

What nobody wants is for them to do it just for the money. At this point it's not worth it.

Collins all talk? Where did that come from? He‘s a man of relatively few words. Why would he be skint as well, he has a farm, horses etc. Talking of Collins, isn’t this the episode where Eubank called him a donkey and tried to frame it as a compliment. Nice one, Chris. As entertaining as he is, you can see why he rubs people up the wrong way.
