The battle of the one hit wonders. If it's the Buster from Tokyo vs the Rahman from South Africa. I'd take Buster to stop Rahman late in a competitive fight.
However if these guys fought 2 or 3 times, I think they'd each win one. They'd be competitively matched.

Gotta agree.

Douglas was not a one hit wonder. He beat some good fighters and had other good performances. It's a stretch to call Rahman one for that matter.
If he simply didn't care like the Holyfield fight, he could lose. If Rahman landed the haymaker that he did against Lewis (he probably wouldn't) then Rahman would win.
However, the most likely scenario is Douglas winning by late TKO or clear decision. He was simply a better fighter.

They had decent careers as contenders, yes.
But they'll always be known for their one HUGE victory. Above all else.

Tbh, that was more like Lewis's fault, rather than Rahman's ability to hit.
Lewis was smiling without holding his guard and it looks like to me he wasn't taking Rahman seriously until Rahman landed that punch

Rahman was a solid puncher, but yeah Lewis being under prepared and overly confident didn't do him any favors.

It was a monster punch. Almost anyone would have went down and out from that. However, Lewis never should have hit with a punch like that in the first place.

Rahman got a dream shot in. Douglas fought an incredible fight. Buster by late TKO.
