I see former Commonwealth Champion Scott Dixon fought and won last night, 25 years after turning Pro....... In that 25 years he has sheared the Ring with some great Names, the likes of Takaloo, Ryan Rhodes, Matthew Macklin, Anthony Farnell, Steve Roberts, Michael Carruth's who was Ireland's first ever gold medalist in boxing, he was also the first man to beat Jamie Moore. He's 43 now and can only be doing it as a hobby? A Dangerous hobby if it is. Does any know?

I went in with him a couple of times, a proper character, been involved in all sorts in his life! His life story was published not long ago.
Also beat Chris Saunders and Ruben Varon.
He has been in Malta for a good while, his mum is over there too, prob for him is boxing is all that he knows, I can't see him getting a proper job! He is involved with the promotional side too and has a gym out there.
He is a big name in Malta, sells a lot of tickets

Dixon's party piece was to really treble up with the left hook when he was being backed up, if I remember correctly. Used to be in some exciting fights, but seemed a bit susceptible to a good body shot.
Also scored a decent win over Charlie Kane and the Jamie Moore result looks even better when you consider what Moore went on to achieve.
Just watched Dicky vs Moore, some fight. Scotty already looks 43 there.

'saw the light'.
Doing well for himself in Malta, despite that hiccup when he shafted the police commissioner aid's wife. To be fair she did move in with him, but it caused some er....hassle, down the line for him. Must get his book, could be a good read.

I doubt the Christian thing has any wheels, I think he uses it when it suits!

Could well be right. Probably first used in court. Mentioned it because our kid who moved in those circles, knowing
