What particular things about boxing right now or in general do you just find sucky and unlikable


I am partially depressed because peak Craw vs Spence is never gonna happen

And BEEF culture has gotten more annoying than ever, ya I know that rivalries are always part of boxing, but the manufactured phony BEEF is just out of control, something like the Robbie Davis jr vs Lewis Ritson 'bad blood' was just f@cking cringey dude, please take notice Edster and all, I know that I alone mean more to your opinion than thousands of casuals (controversial term omg) who will eat up plenty of beef

I complain about it all the time, but I’m going to do it again now: PPV fvcking sucks.

Not for every event - I do appreciate that mega fights like Mayweather/Pacquaio, Lewis/Tyson or Joshua/Fury will undoubtedly be PPV- but fights like Cleverly/Bellew, Whyte/Chisora or Brook/Gavin being PPV are a disgrace. Anyone buying them needs their fvcking head examined. People need to make a stand and not support sh!t like this.

I’m still as big a fan as I’ve always been but haven’t bought a PPV for years, it’s a shame because I’m never happier than when I’m watching live boxing but I also know when I’m being ripped off. What I really miss is the old Friday Fight Nights, that was always a good start to the weekend, these days I just watch the fights that end up on free tv and there’s a few gems every now and then such as Donaire v Inoue which was live on Sky 1 and Mcgreagor v Farooq which was on BBC Scotland but the days of watching live fights every weekend is over for me.

The problem with PPVs is that they've become marketing tools now.

People accepted a long time ago that mega-fights being on PPV were going to happen whether we liked or not. It became so common-place, we stopped even thinking about it. The thing is, it's so ingrained now that a lot of the more casual fans assume that everything that's on PPV must be a big fight. You end up getting people buying the PPV irregardless of the quality, simply because it's on PPV and in their time must be worthy of their time.
