He looks well, and I'm glad he's OK. He could certainly give something back as a trainer etc. Good for him.

It's great to hear that he has made such a full recovery and I wish him well in his new life.

He was lucky he doesn't live alone and there was someone with him to call an ambu.ance.

Fantastic news really pleased that he has recovered in such a good way.

It makes you wish other boxers like Paul Ingle had recovered as well,lets hope that it was due to medical services improvement rather than just luck.

Good luck to him, and nice to see a boxer with such an attractive mrs.

Unfortunately I think Luck (severity of injury) has got something to with it somewhat, Spencer Oliver suffered his injury before Paul. Miguel Barerra (the exceptional flyweight) is another fighter who is aparently at full health, although will never fight again.

Paul apparently is doing okay and is still improving.

They both went to the same hospital so maybe the doctors were better prepared. Mind you, they've probably seen loads of blod clots - from car crashes etc - in the years before, and the 4 years since Ingle visited. It's not really that rare an injury, but the brain itself is a very dodgy area to tempt fate with. So hopefully Mark Brookes will realise how lucky he's been and not be tempted to have a go at rough sparring while getting back in the mix in the gym...
