Boxing is so marginalised I honestly doubt there will be another game. Unless we get some hitherto unknown prospect come through and electrify the sport. I don’t see anyone like that on the horizon tho.

I think boxing at this stage is still bigger than MMA
but I don’t know for how long
Bigger worldwide? I reckon boxing will be as niche as Muay Thai in a decade as UFC takes over the mainstream.

It's not zero sum between boxing and mma, mma is bigger but no way is boxing as fringe as muay thai that soon
Hopefully this game will be decent, EA have definitely turned their back on boxing especially as they are now putting top names in their UFC games

Hopefully not yet another button mashing stand toe to toe, every fight ends in stoppage slugfest style game play
Boxing games totally suck cock for realistic action for the most part, it's like a bunch of newbs who think boxing is a rocky movie made them

Fingers crossed, they are putting together a decent roster to be fair and having the WBC/Ring licensing will help from a authenticity standpoint.

Yeah, it says a lot about the current status of the two sports, that the fight night series has no update slated, and the last verison was 2011!
Aside from a real handful of fighters, most people have no idea who most boxers are at all - Wilder's not even a household name in the US, Canelo and Joshua are the two biggest draws now that Pacquiao is pretty much finished.

I'm a lifelong boxing fan, but I'm afraid comparatively speaking, the average UFC card pisses all over even the best boxing cards these days, the matchups are much better, and the fights way more entertaining.
Big time PPV fights that live up to the hype are incredibly rare. The last really great world title fight I watched was Joshua v Klitschko. Pretty much all the others have been pretty mediocre.
Fury put on a good performance against Wilder, but it was totally one sided, and the rest of the card was garbage.

Not much at all anymore. I just can't get into it.
Most fights bore me to death to the point that I'm just kinda doing something else while it's on. There's actually an entertaining MMA fight that holds my interest about once every 2 or 3 months maybe.

I liked UFC when I was a kid when it was a new thing, and I would rent the videos and sh*t. I still have Pride FC on DVD, and will never get rid of those as I love that promotion.
The UFC just kinda became too watered down to me as the years went on.
It was a more exciting sport when everybody was bringing their own individual style to the table instead of training from Day 1 to be an MMA fighter.
