Bubis Heavyweight Ranking Dezember 2004

Hey guys, it´s boring on here. what about a new ranking?
1. Vitali Klitschko
2. Sinan Samil Sam (winner of the best fight in 2004 ready for a title)
3. Chris Byrd (IBF)
4. Luan Krasniqi (EBU - ready for the WBO-title)
5. Hasim Rahman (only american guy who is dangerous)
6. Nicolai Valuev (ready to wrestle the Wrestler to coma)
7. Corrie Sanders (the colonel is back, a WBO-title is planned)
8. Andrew Golota (WBO-champ after beating Brewster)
9. Wladi Klitschko (too young to be off)
10. Ruslan Chagaev (biggest talent in heavy)
Mr. John Ruiz isn´t ranked here because he belongs to a WWF-Ranking and has nothing to do with this sport. I know Mr. James Toney and all other american "prospects" but after watching all top fights in 2004 IMO they don´t belong to my list.

You say it's boring on here...and then you post a "Top 10" list of heavyweights, unquestionably biased towards Krauts and Eastern Europeans... and omit Danny Williams who, having beaten Tyson previously, has just gone for a world title shot again the guy who is top of your list...
and on a British forum...

as we all know is that Dany Williams was because of the Tyson-fight something like a one-hit-wonder. Tyson is outwashed and Williams is just a good domestic boxer. he was demolished by Sam in a euro-title-fight. watch the different rankings, Williams dropped out there. Toney and all other american guys are overranked IMO. i have a lot of respect for all british guys and your country and i would never say something like "Krauts" to insult someone. stop this racist behaviour. there are a lot of world clas british boxers but not in heavy at the moment. and anyway: it´s my personal opinion and nobody on this forum insulted me for this except you. thanks.

i can't understand Luan Krasniqi at No4.
he only just scraped through against Hoffman , and quit in his loss against Saleta. I would say he's a Euro leval fighter, kind of like Danny Williams level.
Wladi Klitschko , Sorry but his chin has gone, nice guy , but that doesn't win you fights.

Luan is, regarding all official rankings, europes 2nd best fighter. his best place is #5 at WBO. he is not a heavy hitter but has great boxing skills, a good chin and fast feet. he won at least 8 rounds vs Hoffmann but the fight was a politicum between two tv channels because of the rematch. in the fight vs Saleta he was a last minute replacement and not prepared for a 12 rounder. he run out of gas.
Wladi Klitschko is still better than Toney or other americans. he is too young to write him off.

Hey Bubi, you've got two Americans in there - what's that all about?
Did you run out of Europeans?

Stop whining. That's like me having a carry on over an Aussie calling us "Pommies" (which they nearly always do). In his recent interview with the Sydney Herald, Kostya even called us "Pommies". Must be a "racist" then. "Kraut" is hardly
offensive, it's banter. No more so than 'le roast boef' or 'frogs' or 'pommies'
I just thought your ranking list was highly biased that's all. Take it on the chin son...

it´s just my personal point of view. and there is only one german on the list who is actually a top ten boxer.

So you have
9. Wladi Klitschko
but just like lat time you ommited the fighter that beat him Lamon Brewster and since then all he has done is beat DaVarryl Williamson 4 rounds with a helpfull reff , if that makes him better than Brewster in why not put mesi in at least he legitimately KOed him

sorry but Mesi isn´t allowed to fight. he disappeared in any ranking. on the other side Mesi didn´t reach anything in heavy. Wladi was WBO-champ for a long time and beat Byrd. he is 28 and still has a future. i could take Brewster in but i am convinced he will lose vs Golota. so itook Golota in an Brewster out.

But surely Brewster is above Klitschko we base ratings on recent performances not on potential.

But Bubi has a different ranking. so we have time to discuss about it. and we are not bored. Believe me Brewster will be gone after the next time. in 5 years nobody knows his name anymore.

How can john Ruiz not be there, he beat Rahman, who is on your list. Golota has not won a meaningful fight since he beat Bowe.

Ruiz is a wrestler, i would disqualify him. Golota will win vs Brewster and has 2 robbed wins in a world title fight.

Oh, so your rankings are based on whether you would
Your rankings are without a doubt the most ridiculous wastes of effort i've ever seen. Why don't you base their rankings just on whether they are european or not.
How the fornicate is Samil Sam ranked above Byrd, he hasn't even beaten a top 15 fighter. Byrd has fought McCline, Golota, Oquendo, Holyfield, and Tua in recent years. Byrd would run rings around fatman sam, who is going to get exposed if and when he steps up in class.

wait and see what, what are you basing your rankings on, what you think they MIGHT achieve.
Ok, then, i rate George Foreman as #1, because I reckon he's going to come out of retirement and beat them all.
Actually, I rate jesus as #1, because when he comes back to earth, he's going to kick ass, strictly speaking he's around light heavyweight, and he's been out of the ring for 2000 years, but when your the son of god you can take these things in your stride, I'm sure that if he can come back from the dead after three days, and ascend to heaven on a cloud he can kick Vitali Klitchsko's ass.

No he hasn't, he didn't beat Byrd and he didn't beat Ruiz, they were not robberies.
The only reason you rate him higher is because he is European.
And your reasoning for discrediting him is that if you were a ref you would disqualify him, well you aren't.
If I was a referee I would disqualify Vitali for having big lips and talking like a gay robot, but I'm not am I?

you would rank Audley Harrsion and Danny Williams in a top ten. so what? we live in a free land

Says who, I wouldn't rank either of those guys in the top 10. Your rankings are just utter bollocks, they are based on who your favourites are, not on who is best. How could anyone rank Valuev in the top 10, based on what?
You're a typical European boxing fan, seduced by the bullshit TV coverage you believe that your guys are the best guys.
At least I realise that Danny Williams isn't a top 10 fighter, just because he beat Tyson doesn't make him a world force, Tyson is no longer a top 10.
Audley's career is on hold, he wasn't in the top 10 before the injury, so he cannot be one now. Maybe based on potential you could rate him in the top 10, but potential is irrelevant. Tony Ayala Jr had all the potential in the world, sadly he is mental and never realised it, same goes for Ibeabuchi.
Potential means nothing, Dominick Guinn looked the full ticket a year ago, and look at him now.

Agree you can only rank boxers on what they have achieved not what they might achieve or potential. Ridiculous!!

Of course you can have your opinion but having Wladimir over Brewster is ridiculous when he was TKO'd by him! Regardless of what you think of Brewster he deserves to be above Wlad as he beat him you cant say he will lose soon so is not in there. Any of them could lose soon....
