Marco Huck is all set to make his return to the ring in Braunlage, Germany on August 29.

The management of MH Boxing, together with the hotel director of the Maritim Berghotel and representatives of the town of Braunlage, drew up a comprehensive hygiene and safety concept. The Corona protection rules are taken very seriously here. The event will allow 500 spectators in accordance with the COVID 19 protection rules.

Huck will face 26-year-old Dennis Lewandowski from Greifswald, Germany. Lewandowski is 6′ 3″ and his fighting weight is around 300 lbs yet Lewandowski should not be underestimated, according to Huck.

Lewandowski has been sparring partner of Marco Huck several times in the past. Lewandowski: “I know Marco’s fighting style very well and will make life difficult for him. With the strategy developed by myself and my team, I see a good chance for an upset. In Lewandowski’s opinion, the 10 round fight will go the distance.”

The Hildesheim WBC Asia title holder Armenak Hovhannisyan and the 23-year-old WBC Youth Intercontinental title holder Tommy Punch, from the stable of Marco Huck, will also fight in Braunlage on this day. Punch was born in Kassel and is considered a great young talent in the cruiserweight divison. Further fights will be announced.

Showed a lot of facets to his game, and a granite chin, 10-20lb lighter he would have knocked his opponent out.

In his days as a prospect Dennis would come in at about 240-250 lbs. However, for his last fight - against Fabio Wardley in the UK in May of last year, he came in at a whopping 350 lbs and was stopped in three.

Former WBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck, now campaigning at heavyweight, outscored Dennis Lewandowski over ten last night (Aug 29) in Braunlage.

Huck won every round against the somewhat - 152 kg / 335 lbs - overweight Lewandowski.

Huck is now 42-5-1 while Lewandowski suffered his fourth straight loss and is now 13-5.

On the undercard Tahir Kahrovic a/k/a Timmy Punch (17-0) stopped Hungarian Zoltan Sera (32-22-1) in three to win the vacant Int'l German - BDB version - title.

Rico Mueller vs Rafał Jackiewicz strange situation, Jackiewicz won SD and after protest Muellers team verdict was changed on ND. Did you ever see this result?

I'd never seen a ND entered just because a protest has been initiated, rather than actually agreed with. There would be a lot more ND on BoxRec if that were done consistently.
