Right. Bonavena was a better fighter. Wepner was tough enough to take all the punishment, but his skin wasn't enough tough not to be cut. By the later rounds Ringo would open Wepner up and the fight would be stopped.

Bonavena by TKO 10

If no cuts, Bonavena by decision.
